About Research Scholars

The Research Scholars program strives to provide high school students (grade 9-12) with the most advanced educational opportunities that leverage what UC San Diego is known for - top notch research. 

Whether students are interested in going to medical school or becoming bioengineers or even learning about how design thinking can shape innovation, the research scholars programs are designed to give students with a breadth of hands-on experience and knowledge.
